I am not a plant or yard person. I LOVE my covered patio and sitting outside in the shade but not the actual taking care of said yard and plants. To help make up for my lack of landscaping I decorate with pretty things like garden flags. I have a collection of small garden flags for the front yard. Simple decorating and easy to switch out with the seasons. Just stick the stake in the ground and voila!
The problem I have is storing and organizing all my flags. I wanted something that can be stored in the garage and super easy access. I tried using pants hangers with clips but the clips broke. I tried putting them in a plastic storage tub but it was a hassle digging through all the flags to find the one I wanted.
I found the perfect solution at Wal-Mart, space saver pants hangers. Each arm swings out for easy access and is the perfect width for the mini/small garden flags. Each hanger holds four flags. The metal hanger is sturdy and easy to move around. Plus they are inexpensive.
Here is just a small sample of my flag collection on their hangers. The rest are stuffed in boxes in the garage which is a mess (as usual). My goal is to organize the flags in monthly order for the year, making it easy to pull out the one I need without too much work.
That’s a good idea.
