>Only the Good & Fingerprint Friday

>Ok, today I’m combining The Rusted Chain’s Fingerprint Friday with This Eclectic Life’s Only the Good.  I strongly encourage you to read both of these blogs & check out the posted links. You will definitely find something to inspire & lift you up! Heck, you might find another blog to read on a regular basis.

Earlier this week Kiddo & I were out in the front & side yard doing some yardwork. Well, I was doing yardwork while Kiddo played. Mae, our neighbor, was also out doing some yardwork. Mae has always taken an interest in Kiddo since he was born. She talks to him every time she sees him, has bought Kiddo birthday & Christmas presents, & just generally been a great neighbor. Charlie loves “helping” & Mae always takes the time to ask for his “help” when possible.

On Tuesday Mae had Kiddo help her fix some planks in the fence. The nails were lose so she had Kiddo hammering them back in.

Kiddo had fun, felt good about helping Ms. Mae, & I got some yardwork done in peace & quiet. I am thankful for neighbors like Mae who take an interest in a little boy & find ways to make him feel good about himself.
