Hello world! I’m self hosting now

Hello World indeed! I did it! Yay!

Thanks to the Geek Bar at BlogHer ’11 and the great help desk Chat guys at QTH.com (my hosting service) for getting my blog moved to self hosting, WordPress, and from Blogger.

This is something I’ve been wanting to do for over a year now. Many thanks to all my friends who have been encouraging me to take the next step and thanks to my Dad for paying for the multiple domain hosting for the first year.

Now all I have to do is pick a theme, figure out plugins and widgets, and decide on having someone do a custom header, button, etc. for me. I am going to buy the WordPress for Dummies book this weekend!
