Saturday, August 11th, is National Bowling Day. Who knew?
I am a lousy bowler. Hubby is good or at least better than me. Charlie loves bowling. He’s better than either of us despite only bowled maybe 10 times tops.
We’ve taken advantage of AMF’s free bowling for kids this summer when the pool was closed. It’s indoors with A/C (air conditioning) and usually we meet up with some of Charlie’s friends. The kids have a blast and the Moms get to sit down and chat.
Fun Fact – Bowling is currently the #1 participant sport in the country.
Bowling is family friendly, kids love it, it is still relatively inexpensive compared to other entertainment venues and it is in A/C! (okay the last thing is my personal favorite)
