>Fingerprint Friday – Flashback 1985

>There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it’s true
You’re a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you’re covered with the fingerprints of God
So look around you and see where YOU can see God’s fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Please visit The Rusted Chain for more Fingerprint Friday entries. You will be uplifted!

I mentioned back on July 16th that I had found my high school English writing journal from 1985.  We were given topics to write about. We also had a neighbor read our entries & comment on them. I decided to periodically use entries from that notebook for blog posts. I found this entry from Sept 26, 1985. It seems appropriate for a Fingerprint Friday entry.

The Best Things in Life Are Free
The very best thing offered a person is the gift of eternal life. That gift is free – Christ died when He didn’t have to, to save me from hell. Accepting that gift is hard but once done…the feeling is hard to describe.
Other free things include love, friends that are true thru [sic] thick & thin, and I can’t think of anything else.
Friend’s note –
That’s good! Your [sic] right. Life is the greatest! Jesus loves us all, that’s another good thing! ~ Jack

Romans 6:23 ~ “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  NAS
