>Fingerprint Friday

>There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You’re a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you’re covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God’s fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Thank you to Pampering Beki for hosting this each week! This week I see God’s Fingerprints in our daycare situation. Or more accurately, the lack thereof this coming fall!

We received notice of Wed. that Lil’ Saints is closing permanently at the end of the month. This has left many parents scrambling to find alternatives for this fall. The main problem is the timing! The majority of Mother’s Day Out programs already have waiting lists at this point.

I see God’s fingerprints in this situation because we are going to have to stretch our faith and trust that God will provide an opening at the perfect place for our son. All the running around and phone calls I make mean nothing if God is not a part of the decision. We have to trust that God will provide an opening somewhere that works with our work schedules and budget. Otherwise, maybe God has different plans in mind for Charlie and us. I don’t know. But I do know that I can’t get totally stressed & freaked out – God is in control!
