>Fingerprint Friday

>There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it’s true
You’re a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you’re covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God’s fingerprints. It can be anywhere in your life – kids, nature, work, etc.  Check out The Rusted Chain for more Fingerprint Friday links. There is some great reading over there!

Share a Square 2010  is something I am choosing to participate in this year. What is Share A Square you ask? Why I’m so glad you did. You see there is this summer camp called Camp Discovery that is sponsored by The American Cancer Society. This camp is in Texas and is for kids (ages 7-16)diagnosed with cancer. Share a Square’s goal is to provide a crocheted afghan for every single child who attends camp in the summer of 2011.

(squares I’ve completed)

There is a even a Facebook page for Share A Square 2010 so those who are crocheting squares can touch base, chat, and other stuff. The FAQ page for Share A Square has all the details of what size square, where to send your squares, etc.

There are approximately 80 squares in each afghan. 150 kids attend Camp Discovery and we want each child to receive an afghan. So if you crochet, would you consider making some 6 inch squares? Any pattern, any color will do. If you don’t crochet but know someone who does please share this info with them. Squares are coming from all over the world.

  (square I’m working on)

What greater Fingerprint from God can you have than to show a sick or dying child His love in such a special manner?
