>Thursday night was Charlie’s stage debut! He was an elf in the school holiday musical, “December in Our Town”. He sang and danced with the other kindergarten elves. There were only 6 chosen to participate. I’m not sure if my son volunteered or was conscripted.
We didn’t get notice about the costume needed, red tshirt , dark green sweatpants, elf hat and shoes, until Tuesday afternoon. I spent Wed. afternoon running around trying to find everything. I scored the last red tshirt in Charlie’s size at Wal*Mart along with the elf hat. Hubby managed to find some fleece pants at Carter’s. I didn’t even bother looking for the elf shoes.
Charlie did an awesome job! Personally I think he was the best elf on stage. Here is a short video clip of the elves performing. Charlie is the one on the end, left side. His elf hat is striped with elf ears on the sides.
