>Jon Scieszka is one of Kiddo’s favorite authors. Kiddo loves his Trucktown books about different vehicles that live in Trucktown. His newest book is “Truckery Rhymes”. He also writes Time Warp Trio series, The Stinky Cheese Man and many others.
Blue Willow Bookshop is a small independant bookstore in Houston. I highly recommend them for excellent customer service plus they get some really awesome authors in for signings!
Mr. Scieska read excerpts from his newest book. There was a fire truck for the kids to play on along with Blue Bell ice cream. Mr. Scieska also signed books after the reading. He was very friendly and actually talked to the kids as he was signing.
We bought 2 books for Kiddo, both of which he sat promptly down & started “reading” them to himself.
All in all, a great way to spend the afternoon!
