>I am not a crafty Mom. I am crafty for myself in that I sew, scrapbook and crochet. Doing crafts with Charlie, well that’s a whole different ball game. I don’t like the mess, I can’t come up with crafty ideas (PTL for the Internet), and honestly just do not enjoy them. Neither does Charlie for the most part from the few times I’ve tried arts & crafts together.
This is the first week that Charlie’s had “silly dress up” days at Vacation Bible School as well. Yesterday (Wednesday) was Silly Hat Day.
Since I didn’t want to spend money on buying a Silly Hat, much less drive all over town looking for one, Charlie and I made a Silly Hat. We took an old freebie baseball hat with cow spots on it (It says Cowabunga! on it) and added fabric paint, beads, and Google eyes. ?
All in all, not too bad considering we didn’t start until after dinner on Tuesday. Today is mismatch clothing day. That’s certainly not a problem for the boy!
