>College memories

>Twenty years ago I graduated from Howard Payne University.  This fall is the Class of 1990’s 20th Reunion at Homecoming in Brownwood, TX.  Somehow I got “volunteered” to put together a multi-media presentation for our reunion. I guess because it was my idea and I have lots of pictures from my college years. Thankfully, Laura has stepped up to the plate and is working on the actual production portion of this doo-hickey. I am in charge of gathering up the photos from our alumni, which are scattered all over Texas and the world.

(’86 – working on our class float for the Homecoming parade freshman year)
So, I have been digging through boxes and boxes of my pictures off and on these past few months. Yesterday I started scanning them in earnest and moving them into our HPU shared folder on Dropbox. If you haven’t checked out Dropbox before, it is free online storage that you can access from any computer. Pretty nifty if I do say so myself.
(’90 – graduation – me, Anna, Carolyn)
Getting back on topic, digging through my albums and boxes for pictures has brought back tons of wonderful memories for me. I was always told that college is where I will make friends for life and that is sooo true! Most of the people I hung out with at HPU I am still friends with today. Many I keep up with via Facebook but a few I have been talking too the old fashioned way (phone/email/regular mail) all along.
(Go Jackets! – football game -not sure what year)
(Class officers – 88/89 maybe? I can’t remember)
I will be posting more photos and memories in the upcoming weeks.
