>Just booked Chuck E Cheese for Charlie’s 4th birthday party in Jan. We haven’t had an actual party for Charlie since his 1st birthday so it should be interesting. All of Charlie’s friends from pre-school have had parties this year so Charlie is excited about having one for him. The problem is we can’t afford a big party. If the weather wasn’t so unpredictable in Jan., we’d have his party at the house and let the kids run around the backyard. But in Houston, it can be rainy in January and our backyard doesn’t drain very well. We’ve looked at a variety of “venues” for 4 year old birthday parties and this has been the least expensive option so far. *sigh* Now all I have to do is find Hot Wheels invitations and decorations.
