My friend Kelly hosted an Origami Owl jewelry bar party a few months ago. I enjoyed learning about Origami Owl and fascinated by the concept. I ended up purchasing a Living Locket, several charms and a chain.
The concept is simple. A customizable locket in different metals and sizes with a wide variety of charms, tags, and plates to switch around as the mood strikes you. A variety of necklace chains are available in different lengths, metals, and styles.
I was so excited when my locket, chain and charms arrived! They came packaged in a cute little Origami Owl take out box. Inside the box was a fabric fortune cookie which held the locket, charms and necklace chain. I bought a large Living Locket in rose gold with crystals. The chain is their 16-18′ ball station chain. The large locket is approximately the size of a quarter.
Charms are available to meet every taste and style. Some of the categories include birthstones, causes, faith, music and many more. You can leave the locket clear or purchase plates to place inside. The charms go in front of the plate.
Suffice it to say I love my Living Locket! I have been wearing it with just about everything since I got it. Now all I need is a pair of rose gold earrings to wear with it. Origami Owl lockets are perfect for just about any woman. They even make bracelets now! I love how you can change out the charms to match your mood, a holiday or special event.
I don’t have a decent photo of me wearing my locket, sorry.
Thanks for sharing this. I saw something like this yesterday at a book store and I LOVED it. It was not Origami Owl, though. It was some other brand. Later yesterday I was wishing I had remembered the brand name because I wanted to look it up online. I’ll go to the website and check it out.

It is really neat. I want to buy more charms!
I love the idea of this… I’ll have to watch for it!

I know you can order via their website as well as contact a consultant to host a party if you’d rather do that. Not sure about Canada though.
I actually checked right after I posted, and found out that they currently don’t deliver to Canada. Maybe some day!
