Conversations with Charlie – Haunted Houses

The other day Charlie told me all about Haunted Houses while in the car. I turned on the voice memo recorder on my iPhone so I could remember the conversation and blog about it.

I tried to transcribe the conversation but it didn’t go so well.

C – I want to go to a haunted house. But we need a magic school bus or a magic car.

M – Well OK then. What else about a haunted house?

C – Well, it’s kinda a broken house with broken windows and went like this (he leans to the right) *ooh Camero again* and uh, yes spiderwebs and not without spiders. Oh and also I think there’s a spooky elevator in there and when you press a button it says “Boo”.

C – there are always books in haunted houses. When you open the books, ghosts jump out and go “Boo”. And skeletons. Yeah, there are skeletons in haunted houses too. They go “crash, crash, crash”. Oh, and ghosts sometimes walk through you. And their icky stuff gets in your mouth and stuff and you say “Ewwww”.

There is much more to the conversation and I wanted to attach the recording for your listening pleasure. I couldn’t figure out how to do it and accidentally deleted the recording.

Happy Halloween!

Elizabeth
