Hot Wheel Wall Tracks – Super Cool

Hot Wheels was a BlogHer ’11 sponsor. Charlie is obsessed with Hot Wheels so of course a visit to their suite was in order. The lovely ladies there were displaying the newest track that Mattel has produced for their Hot Wheel line, Wall Tracks!

To say Charlie was in hog heaven is an understatement. There were at least 8 or 9 different tracks set up for kids and adults to play with. What makes these tracks so unique and different is that they hang on the wall! Seriously! How cool is that?!

Wall Tracks mount to any wall using 3M Command strips (provided in the box) and a template for placing the hanging mounts. There is the basic starter set which includes a loop and is pretty big by itself. Then there are a variety of add on sets you can buy as well.

Charlie told me, “Mommy, with this I don’t have to clean my room anymore!” which is the sheer genius behind the concept. No more large tracks set up on the floor, taking up all the space.

Luckily enough Charlie was the winner of the basic track. It totally made his entire trip! Once we got home, Charlie insisted on the track being set up the very next day. It has been hanging for about a week now, played with quite a bit and hasn’t fallen down yet.

I have a feeling Santa will be bringing an add on set for Christmas.
