Weight Watchers again

It’s been awhile since I’ve talked about Weight Watchers. I joined just over a year ago and was doing pretty good there for awhile. I joined Weight Watchers because I realized I need to take better care of myself health wise. Being 80+ pounds overweight was not helping my high blood pressure, cholesterol, and Type 2 Diabetes. Then everything went to heck and back last fall and I got way off track.  While totally understandable under the circumstances I really really need to get back on track.

I have gained almost all the original weight back, all 20 pounds, I had lost.

So I started tracking my eating again.. I have restocked the fridge and pantry with healthy veggies and fruit for snacks. I am drinking more water versus my beloved Diet Dr Pepper.  I am going to attend weigh ins and meeting again. I have been weighing in every other week or so but have not actually attended a meeting in over 2 months.

Exercise is my weakness. I don’t really like to exercise outside since Houston is soooo hot and humid 10 months out of the year. I am lazy. I don’t like to work out. I have been doing more activity in the pool lately instead of just floating for 2 hours. I need to do more and do it consistently.

Walking Ruby and Max is my best option. Ruby definitely could use the exercise too. I am going to check out some classes at the Y and city Rec center as well. Maybe that will get me more motivated than I am now.

The first step is to get back on track watching what I eat and how much I eat.
