>Our weekend was very busy! In addition to Kiddo’s soccer game we went to Veggie Tales Live! Presents Sing Yourself Silly Saturday afternoon. Kiddo has become obsessed with Veggie Tales in the last month or so. Thankfully the library has a decent selection of DVDs for him to chose from and watch. We’ve even got Veggie Tales music in the car.

So when I saw that Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber and the gang were coming to town this month I talked Hubby into buying us tickets. Kiddo was so excited! It was all he could talk about last week. I have to admit I like the videos and some of the Silly Songs myself. There is just something about talking vegetables that makes me smile.

Before the show we stopped by the merchandise booth (of course) hoping to just buy a t-shirt for Kiddo. We ended up with a t-shirt, a DVD
and 2 music CDs. One of the CDs is for me – Bob & Larry sing the 80’s
. It isn’t out for release until Oct. 2nd! I will proudly admit to dancing and singing along to the music. Hey, I’m a product of the 1980’s and this CD has some great songs on it.

All in all, it was a great way to spend the afternoon as a family. Later that evening Hubby went to the RUSH concert with his nephew. He had a great time there too.
