Friday afternoon Kiddo and I put on our swimsuits and headed out to a local Splash Pad. Our city installed the Sprayground last year in one of the local parks but we had not checked it out for ourselves yet.
I’m glad I took one of our camping chairs because there isn’t a place for parents to sit while their kids play in the Splash area. That is my only complaint about the Sprayground. Otherwise, it is very nice. Kiddo had lots of fun playing.
Kiddo was fascinated by the 2 water cannons that are in the play area. They turn so you can spray water at people as they run around.
We were at the play area for two whole hours! I sat and relaxed reading a book while Kiddo ran around splishin’ and a splashin’. A great way to spend a Friday afternoon.
