I don’t decorate much for Halloween. We really don’t celebrate the holiday for a variety of reasons. Charlie does get to go Trick or Treating but that is usually the entirety of our Halloween celebration.
I saw the cutest Monster Halloween wreath on Pintrest a few weeks ago and decided it was perfect for my limited decor. I pinned it and waited until Hobby Lobby had tulle on sale.
Over the weekend I made my Monster wreath. It didn’t take very long to cut or tie the tulle. I used the original creator’s, Jill at BabiesRabies.com, suggestion of wrapping the tulle around a box and cutting it instead of trying to measure out tulle to cut. Brilliant to say the least!!
The instructions on the tutorial were spot on. I used exactly the same amount of tulle she mentioned for a 14″ wreath. Everything went perfectly.
Overall I think my Monster turned out pretty darn cute.

That is a crazy cute wreath! It almost looks like a Muppet!

The original person who created the wreath also suggested it could be made to look like a Muppet. Red tulle for Elmo, etc. Great idea for a kid’s birthday party decoration.
It still make me giggle every time I look at it. 🙂

Charlie doesn’t approve of the name Henry that I gave it. He likes Mr. Ghost Vampire.
It makes me smile every time I see it too.
It’s adorable.
