>On Sat. Hubby took Kiddo to see Monster Jam live at Reliant Stadium. It was a birthday present for Kiddo who is turning 5 tomorrow (1/12). Kiddo has been fascinated with monster trucks for over a year now & watches Monster Jam on SpeedTV occasionally. They left for lunch & the pre-event Pit Party around 12:30pm. I spent the afternoon at a friend’s house scrapbooking.
Despite concerns Kiddo might not like the crowds or noise, Hubby & Kiddo had fun spending the day together. It was a looong day for Kiddo but he says it was lots of fun! They did leave after about 1 1/2 hours into the actual show. Kiddo said the noise was too loud. Hubby did buy the noise reducing headphones but they didn’t fit Kiddo’s small head very well. Quote “they were too big for me”.
Hubby took pictures of Kiddo with the various drivers. He didn’t take as many as I would’ve but then Hubby isn’t the photographer in the family either. Kiddo has this dazed & confused look in most of them.
All in all, it was an extremely satisfactory way to spend the day for everyone.
