>Last Saturday I decided that I want to paint my laundry room cabinets and eventually paint the laundry room. If I could figure out how to tile, I’d redo the floor at the same time.
My cabinets are wood and had these lovely 1970’s metal accent hanger thingy-s in the center. I removed those & filled in the holes with wood putty. See picture below. Ignore ugly linoleum flooring & Dust Godzillas please.
I sanded & primed the doors. The insides of the cabinets is cheap particle board. So I decided to prime & paint the interior as well. So I attempted to prime the interior of the cabinets. That is harder than it looks people. Here is a photo of my finished crappy job. I have decided to invest in spray on primer to neaten the whole thing up before painting white.
I am going to, eventually, paint the laundry room a lovely pale yellow from Sherman-Williams called Butter Up. It is sorta a buttercream yellow color. I did paint a section of the wall to see if I like it or not. I definitely LIKE! It is a softer yellow than showing in the photo.
Allison & I are painting my office a luscious shade of green this weekend. It will also make me very happy! *insert squeal with delight* My laundry room will have to wait for another weekend to be finished.
