>Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast

>Yesterday was Charlie’s Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast at school. I went to school and ate lunch with him. Ah, the joys of elementary school cafeteria food, even if it was turkey with all the trimmings. This was Charlie’s first time to eat a hot meal at school. He usually takes his lunch to school. Now he wants to buy his lunch everyday. *sigh*

All of the kindergartners were dressed up as Native Americans. There wasn’t a Pilgrim to be seen anywhere. When I asked Charlie if anyone was going to be a Pilgrim his response was “What’s a Pilgrim?”

Charlie was so adorable in his vest and feathered headband.  He decorated the vest himself.

I have decided that it is a miracle that Kindergarten teachers are not alcoholics. It is certainly a job that I could never do. I greatly admire those willing to take on this age in a large group setting on a daily basis!
