Our son is 5 years old today. He is very excited about being a Big Kid. For Christmas Santa brought Charlie a new comforter, pillow, 2 posters, & a new night light, all with a Racing/Cars theme.
One of the posters is NASCAR and the other features Disney Cars.
(ignore the mess on the dresser please)
I made a pennant valance out of black & white checked fabric for his window.
The night light is a glass block with tiny white lights inside. The back is painted solid black & the front has a pair of racing flags on it. I made it myself & it turned out pretty good. The racing flags are vinyl stickers I got from Etsy. We added a bookshelf for Charlie’s growing library.
All in all, quite nicely done. Charlie seems happy with it and that is all that matters in the long run.
