>As I had mentioned last month, I was chosen to be a reviewer for Neutrogena’s newest product, Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid. It is a liquid sunblock designed for daily use.
According to the packaging, the Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Daily Sunblock has a SPF 70 with broad spectrum uva–uvb protection. The package also says that the sunscreen is waterproof, sweat proof, non-comedogenic, oil free, and PABA free. Neutrogena also says that Ultra Sheer Liquid Daily Sunscreen has a light ultra-sheer feel, perfect for under make-up & moisturizers or even alone.
The 1st time I used Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid I was headed to a water park in Galveston, TX for the day. I followed the directions for application (not complicated – shake well, apply 15mins before sun exposure) and slathered on the sunscreen that morning. It went on just as promised, absorbing quickly – no greasy oily feeling on my face at all. Now, I admit the only place I applied this sunscreen was on my face and neck. I reapplied every couple of hours throughout the day.
7 hours later, exhausted but happy, Kiddo and I headed home. By the time we arrived back home, I was beginning to turn red. I was fried everywhere EXCEPT my face and neck. Yes, I had used other sunscreen on my body. I am fair skinned and blond – of course I used sunscreen on my body. It did not protect my tender skin like the Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid did!! The only place I was not sunburned was where I had semi-diligently applied the Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid throughout the day – my face & neck.
WOW! Considering my nose is the 1st place to burn, that is impressive folks. I spent the day in water, in south Texas, outside, no hat, just me, my sunscreen, & my swimsuit. I was sold!
I have been using Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid just about every day now on my face and arms. The little bottles (1.4 fl oz) have lasted a lot longer than I thought they would. I still have some left. I can freely admit I will recommend this sunscreen product to anyone who asks me about it.
