It could have something to do with the fact that for the first 10 years or so of our lives, we were dressed alike. Mom said she didn’t plan it that way; people just gave her matching outfits. Um, yeah, lots of these outfits were homemade by our mother.

Matching accessories – check. Matching PJ’s and slippers – check. Matching haircuts – check.

Heck, even our shoes matched. And when we didn’t match exactly, we coordinated in matching outfits but in different colors or accessories.
Sadly, I am quite sure there are more such photos at my parent’s house. I just didn’t take the time to search for more. The last photos (that I remember) where my sister and I were dressed alike was when I was in 4th grade-ish. There were times later on that we chose to dress alike or similar but not very often. Personally, my sister is a clone of our mom while I resemble our dad’s side of the family. Here is a family picture of us in high school.
