This is not my idea but I totally LOVE it!! I had never seen it used before.
Over Christmas we had a Pinterest party at my niece’s house. The craft was frame wreaths, something I had found on Pinterest years earlier. Hot Glue guns were going to be used.
Anyone who has used a hot glue gun knows how annoying the dripping glue out of the tip is. It is very hot and sticks to everything. The glue strings all over the place. Table tops can be ruined by hot melting glue. You can purchase glue gun stands but they require some skill to balance the hot gun on them. I have 2 such stands so I know what I am talking about.
My sister-in-law pulled out paper plates and cut them into fourths. Florence explained the paper plates were for the glue guns; to place under them to catch the melting glue and protect the table top.
Brilliant!! Cheap and easy to do.
Have you done this before? Or seen it done previously? I’m going to do this from now on.
