Help Replace Stolen Holiday Baskets – Monkey Do Project

Earlier this  month the Christian Service Center bank was burglarized. All their food was taken including the donations for their holiday season food baskets. Can you even imagine being a food bank and not being able to provide much needed holiday meals? Or any meals?

The Monkey Do Project, my favorite charity, has pledged to help replace these items so families in Clay County West Virginia can have a holiday meal. Our goal is $7000 by November 3rd. That will provide 200 holiday baskets to needy families.

You can donate directly via the Monkey Do Project  website.  We are also raising money by selling Monkey Do Project t-shirts via Booster.com! Just in time for holiday gift giving. $20 will get you a lovely t-shirt and provide a side dish or dessert for a family of 4. Our goal is 50 t-shirts sold. We’ve sold 20 shirts so far! T-shirts are available in a wide variety of sizes.

Please share with your friends and family. All proceeds will go directly to replacing the stolen food and holiday baskets in WV. Helping Americans in the poorest region of the US during Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons is a great way to show the true spirits of the holiday season. Being thankful that I have a pantry full of food and my son is not going hungry is just one of the reasons I support The Monkey Do Project.
