Halloween 2011

Starting early in October Charlie decided he wanted to be a Ghost for Halloween. He did not however want to wear anything over his head. That makes creating a Ghost costume kinda difficult.

Eventually Charlie changed his mind (whew) and wanted to be Ironman. This was about a week and half prior to Halloween mind you. Thankfully Wal-Mart still had Ironman costumes. I know, I know but I just didn’t want to try to sew a costume at this point in the game.

We took Charlie to the Sugar Land Town Square event like we normally do.

Monday night Charlie up and decides he wants to go Trick or Treating at night. We have never gone trick or treating in the neighborhood. No one on our street gives out candy. Hubby took Charlie to some other streets in the subdivision where there were other kids out. Charlie was thrilled to run into friends from school while Trick or Treating. He wore last year’s costume (Fire Fighter) since he was “too tired to be Ironman”.

The best candy came from Monday night. I’ve got the boy trained right – all bubble gum and chocolate are automatically Mommy’s. No questions asked.

  1. The boys gave me all of their Nerds. Hooray for training children properly. 😉
