>Fingerprint Friday – Kindergarten field trip today

>There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it’s true
You’re a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you’re covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God’s fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?  Join us over at The Rusted Chain for more Fingerprint Fridays. You never know what you might find that touches your heart!

Today I am chaperoning Charlie’s Kindergarten class Field Trip. We are going to Dewberry Farm along with the other 2 Kindergarten classes.

I see God and His fingerprints all over these children. Each one is unique inside and out. Each child is precious in His sight. God loves each and every little boy and girl, even the challenging ones!

I see God’s fingerprints in their teachers who love these kids and love teaching them. Personally, I do not have the patience and fortitude to handle just one 6 year old, even though he’s mine and I love him dearly, much less a group of 20-25 of them! I marvel at these women and pray for them as they influence my son in ways I never could.

I see God’s fingerprint in my life as He has blessed me with a job that allows me the flexibility to take off work and chaperon a field trip. That I can participate in PTO and classroom parties if I want to. I am blessed that He made me a Mommy to this little boy.

I am also asking for prayers for all of us today!  There will be approximately 60 Kindergartners, 3 teachers and I have no clue how many chaperons at this place all day. Whew!

Elizabeth
