>Tomorrow, Sat. March 6th, my sister & I will be at the BVARC Houston Hamfest from 8am – 1:30pm. Well, actually we will be there much earlier as we are selling stuff in the venue. I will be representing L & R Designs with our lovely eco-friendly, reusuable snack bags & baby items for sell. Rachael will be operating the DX Kid’s Cafe, selling coffee, breakfast burritos, hot dogs, etc.
The DX Kid’s Cafe is the latest fundraiser for Rachael & Chris’s Russian adoption. They have passed their homestudy, filed various massive amounts of paperwork &been psychologically tested (still wondering on that one haha). Rachael & Chris are at the most frustrating stage of this loooong involved process where they can’t go forward until they have quite a bit more money. Ultimately they need another $40,000.00 in the bank. You can read about their progess on Rachael’s blog Sanity is Optional in Texas . I gotta admit I love her blog’s name!
