Taking photos of your kids and family in a bluebonnet field is a Texas tradition. Sadly it is not one of the traditions I have participated in. The only other photo I have of Charlie in bluebonnets is from he was 4 or 5 years old.
That photo was also a spur of the moment thing. We had been picking strawberries with friends and on the way home saw some bluebonnets on the side of the road.
In April I went camping with Charlie’s Boy Scout Troop in Navasota. There were bluebonnets everywhere! A lovely little patch of bluebonnets was even growing right next to our tents! Serendipitous!
I nagged Charlie into posing for a picture for me. I even managed to nag some of his friends into posing too. Here are the interesting results.
