Charlie caught his very first fish this past Saturday!
The fish was a Gasper Goo according the the CCA people. It was 12.5 inches but we didn’t get it’s weight. Charlie released it back into the lake after being photographed and measured.

That is a nice sizes fish!
Isn’t it?! I didn’t get the weight but it was at least a pound.
Awesome. My kids love to go fishing. They also release the fish back into the lake!

Charlie had fished before but didn’t catch anything which made him not thrilled with the idea of fishing again. Of course Charlie was trying to fish with one of those kiddie poles, SpongeBob, so of course he didn’t catch anything.
Now that he’s caught a fish, Charlie can’t wait to go again.
