Throwback Thursday – Wild TImes

This is a picture of my grandmother, Mamaw, and some girlfriends. Or maybe her sisters? I don’t know. Usually Mamaw wrote on the front of photos but there is nothing on this one. The back is covered by that black paper that used to be in photo albums. I have tried everything to get that paper off but my UnDu doesn’t even make a dent in it!

I am assuming this is the late 1920’s or early ’30s from the clothing and rolled stockings. My paternal grandmother is 2nd on the left. I have more photos like this in a box in my closet. I love old photographs like this.Doesn’t it look like the girls were having a wild time?
