I am headed to New York City and the BlogHer ’12 conference today!
I’m going by myself this time. I am so looking forward to meeting OLFs in person as well as learning more about blogging, connecting with brands, and just seeing NYC.
Thanks to BlogHer for giving me a BlogHership to cover conference costs. All I have to do in exchange is work 2-3 hours at least 2 days of the 3 day conference. I’m a Mic Wrangler which means during the sessions I run around with the microphone to the people asking questions of the panelists.
All I have to worry about financially is the hotel (and I have a roommate) and incidentals. Food is covered by the conference (yay).
I need this break. As you know it’s been a rough year so far. I know I will have fun and be refreshed and recharged when I get back on Sunday.
