Yesterday I was supervising Charlie as he was sorting dirty clothes for laundry and Max (the dog) farted.
Charlie – EWWWWW! Max stepped on a frog.
Me – what?
Charlie – Max stepped on a frog. It’s an idiom Mom! It’s what you say when someone farts; they stepped on a frog.
Me – okaaay. I have not heard that one before. Where did you learn that?
Charlie – Ms. George. She taught us about idioms but we’re really not supposed to learn them yet. It’s for 5th grade mainly.
So I learned something new yesterday. In fact it was one of many things I learned yesterday. What new interesting fact or thing you have learned lately?
