>Happy New Year! I wish you and your family a year full of blessings big and small.
Usually Hubby, Charlie and I ring in the new year at home in our pajamas. This year I went over to my friend’s house to scrapbook. Hubby and Charlie were invited to my SIL’s house for a family game night but they didn’t go. I stayed out later than I had planned but so had so much fun it was worth it! I have almost finished up our Hawaii vacation photos from 2001.
Allison and I talked about plans and goals for the new year while we were scrapbooking. It was nice to bounce ideas and thoughts off a friend who understands where you’ve been and where you want to go. Trust me, we didn’t have a deep philosophical discussion, but mainly talked about what we wanted to do (or not do as the case may be) in this upcoming year. We discussed getting back to exercising regularly (her) or starting exercising regularly (me). I talked about getting my office organized again. Allison is getting house remodeling done this year. We decided we need the creative outlet and down time that scrapbooking together give us on a regular basis as well. And a myriad of other tiny and large things we want to see happen at some point during the year!
So here’s to new beginnings and fresh starts!
Now all I need to do is actually put this stuff on paper where I can see it (can anyone say Vision Board?) and set aside time on a daily, weekly or monthly basis to get some of this stuff accomplished.
