Today Charlie’s school (like many others) is celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday. The school held a door decorating contest and Charlie’s class won for 1st grade!
Here is the class door. The kids worked hard at coming up with rhyming words to write on their hats.
The PTO (meaning Kelly and me) made Red Fish Candy Popcorn for the teachers and staff. I saw the idea on Pinterest and repinned it. Here is what our finished product looked like.
You can barely see the red Swedish fish gummies but they are there. Kelly and I tasted tested it (of course) and it was yummy.
Be sure to take the time to read with your kids today and celebrate the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss.
