>Fingerprint Friday – Prayer Request

>There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it’s true
You’re a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you’re covered with the fingerprints of God

Where do you see God’s Fingerprints in your life? This week? This year? Today? In your kids, the sunset, a friend, prayers answered? Check out Becki over at The Rusted Chain for more links to other Fingerprint Fridays!

Saturday, June 25th, my college roommate called with a prayer request. I knew something was wrong as soon as I saw her name and number on my phone. D’Ette rarely called unless something was wrong.

Her mom was diagnosed with colon cancer on June 23rd. Mrs. Whittington had surgery on June 30th. The tumor was larger than expected and approximately 8 inches of her colon was removed. Late Wednesday night D’Ette texted me that the surgeon had called. The cancer has spread to her mom’s lymph nodes. They were meeting with the doctors yesterday to discuss treatment options.

Please pray for my friend, D’Ette Femmel and her family.

Psalm 23:4  “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.” ASV
