>Fingerprint Friday

>There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you

I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it’s true
You’re a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you’re covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God’s fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Head on over to PamperingBeki ‘s blog for more links to other great Fingerprints.

I just colored my hair this week for the very first time. I will be 42 in January. My gray hair was just not blending into my brownish blonde hair anymore.

I see God’s fingerprints in my life everytime I look in the mirror. I see the gray hairs, the beginning of wrinkles, the extra pounds that life has given me over the years. I also see that I am wonderfully made by my Creator.  All the things I dislike about my body are just part of the natural  process that God set in motion when He created man.  These physical traits are reminders of the life I have been given by God. Overall it has been a pretty good life. Certainly there have been valleys over the years (when Mom died, my infertility, etc.) but there have been mountain tops as well – my husband, my son, etc. Through all of life’s journey God has been with me. Sometimes I doubted it; other times I rejoiced in it. So while you can’t see my gray now (at least not as much) I am proud of what it represents – a life that has been lived fully.
