>Fingerprint Friday

>There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You’re a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you’re covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God’s fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Thank you to Pampering Beki for hosting this each week! Ok, I didn’t do much blogging this week due to my computer dying on me. Well, actually it was the video card. I put the computer in “sleep”mode Sun. night and Mon. morning, it wouldn’t “wake up”!

My Fingerprint Friday is about my frustrations over dealing with Dell. God doesn’t enjoy testing us as His children but He does use life to help teach us lessons and make us grow, just like we do as parents with our kids. And just like with our kids, “but I don’t wanna” doesn’t work with God!

This is my computer I use for work. If it doesn’t work, I can’t work & I don’t get paid. We need my income now more than ever. On Mon. I was told my computer would be fixed on Tues. On Tues. at noon, I was promised Wed. since the part was in but a tech wasn’t available. By 4pm Tues. I was informed that Dell had 19,000 video cards on back order & it would be Thurs. or Fri. before I could be up and running. I called on Wed. just to check on everything and was told Dell didn’t know when a video card would be available; it may be some time next week. At this point, I was (to put it mildly) very angry & frustrated. However, I came up with an alternate that would allow me to work & get paid, which while not perfect, was better than nothing. I took my headset to Dad’s house, downloaded the programming, and worked from there this morning.

God does provide miracles in this day and age! At 10am Thursday I received a phone call from Gina, the service tech, who said she would be at my house before 2pm. She not only called my cell phone but also left a message at the house & called my hubby’s work number! Gina arrived around 12:30p & had my computer up and running by 1pm.

Now if only my work would be as accommodating…..
