>Fingerprint Friday

>There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You’re a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you’re covered with the fingerprints of God

This week’s musings are related to the simple things in life that we don’t frequently recogonize God’s fingerprints in.

My son takes his Hot Wheels or other small toys everywhere we go. They are carried in a bag my Aunt Cecie gave Charlie when he was 2 years old. It has been dragged all over the place, literally.
I see God’s fingerprints in my son as he shares his favorite toys with other little kids he has never met before. That bag of toys provides instant entertainment in situations where kids are dragged to parties, meals, events, etc. by their parents. I have had so many parents tell me how much they appreciate my son sharing his toys. It is a small thing I admit but God is in the small things of daily life.
