Dads and Donuts

Today was Dads and Donuts at Charlie’s school. I totally forgot about that with everything else going on.

Monday a sad little voice from the backseat of the car said “I guess I don’t get to  go to Dads and Donuts on Friday”.

Of course my heart shattered into a gazillion pieces right then and there. Trying not to cry I told Charlie I would see what I could do.

Uncle JT to the rescue! I texted Robert’s niece Katt and asked if JT could take Charlie Friday morning before school to the event.  The answer was a quick yes.

Although Charlie didn’t act like it, I know he was thrilled that Uncle JT showed up at school for Dads and Donuts. I’m thrilled to know that Charlie has many Uncles in his life to help him  (and me) as time goes by.
