Today we are leaving for Lake Texana State Park. It is Charlie’s first time camping! It is also Hubby’s first time camping ever. Heaven help me!
I grew up camping. My dad’s family camped. I don’t particularly care for camping but I’m putting on my Happy Face. Honestly, I think it will be a great experience for Charlie and Hubby. I’m just worried that Hubby, who does not like the outdoors, will be negative and grumpy all weekend. Charlie is very much into the “worship” Daddy phase right now. He will definitely pick up on Hubby’s attitude and I don’t want Charlie to go into this with a negative attitude either.
