Charlie will be 12 years old in 3 weeks. While I have not mentioned it, he is questioning belief in Santa Claus. There has not been any discussions but Charlie is aware that different families believe different things about Santa, the Tooth Fairy, etc.
Earlier this month I asked Charlie if he wanted to write to Santa Claus this year. His response was classic Charlie!
“Honestly Mom, I’m pretty sure that Santa Claus isn’t real but I’m going to write him a letter anyway. Better off hedging my bets and covering my bases than being sorry.”
