Charlie, like most kids, is a macaroni and cheese connoisseur. It is his favorite thing to order when we eat out.

Charlie has ranked his top 3 restaurants with the best macaroni and cheese offerings.
1. Luby’s Cafeteria – I have to admit that Luby’s does make a great mac ‘n cheese. It is very creamy and light. The noodles are fat but not mushy.
2. Olive Garden – Charlie likes that Olive Garden uses shells in their mac ‘n cheese dish. The cheese sauce is more cheddar-y than Luby’s.
3. Chili’s – This macaroni and cheese is the classic Kraft blue box. I believe they even advertise it that way.
According to Charlie my mac ‘n cheese ranks 4th on his list. Considering I make the Kraft classic or HEB brand I am not overly surprised.
