This year for his 9th birthday party Charlie wanted a Minecraft party at our house. Thankfully Aunt Emily managed to convince him that a party held elsewhere would be MUCH better.
While visiting family in San Antonio we went bowling at the Main Event. Charlie decided that he wanted a bowling birthday party. Of course this was just one week before his actual birthday. Good thing the hotel had free Internet. I was able to call the local bowling alley and book Charlie’s birthday party for Sunday, January 12th.
Julie sent me pdf files she used for Aiden’s Minecraft party which was awesome! Pinterest and Etsy gave me a few ideas. I went with simplicity and minimal decorations since we were at the bowling alley.
All of Charlie’s friends showed up. The kids had a blast bowling. Charlie was happy. And in the end, that is all that matters.
So glad he had a great party! Happy kids, happy Mom! ????
Yay! It sounds like a fun time. And those cupcakes look fabulous.
