   He certainly looks happy to be seeing you again! My son is always crabby when I pick him up from his after school program, but I think that’s because he is having such a good time that he doesn’t want to leave!

     He always runs the last bit to me which totally makes my day. I’ve been cutting back on where I meet him and T (his friend who walks with them) so they are walking almost to the house by themselves. T continues on around the corner to her house. They are in 2nd grade so we (T’s mom and I) are working on letting them be more independent.
